The size, morphology, site, and access score predicts critical outcomes of endoscopic mucosal resection in the colon (FREE ACCESS)

Summary:
A polyp scoring system composed of size, morphology, site, and access was applied to 2675 nonpedunculated colorectal polyps, all ≥ 20mm. The score was able to identify subgroups of patients at increased risk of complications, failed endoscopic resection, and adenoma recurrence.

Residual adenoma after cold snare polypectomy for small colorectal adenomas: a prospective clinical study (FREE ACCESS)

In a prospective trial, investigators from Japan conclude that the pathological residual adenoma rate after cold snare polypectomy of colorectal adenomas < 9mm in size is negligible (0.98%).
